Our commitment

London Shoes is committed to giving every customer equal, respectful and accessible service, including people with disabilities. We’ve worked to make both our website and our shop easy to use for everyone, and we keep improving.

Accessibility level

This website has been made accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013 and Israeli Standard (IS) 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We aim higher, for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site is designed to work with a keyboard alone, with screen readers and zoom, and with reduced-motion settings.

What we’ve done online

• Semantic headings, landmarks and a “skip to content” link on every page.
• Labels on every form field, with clear error messages that are announced to assistive technology.
• Visible focus outlines and full keyboard support for menus, search, the shopping bag and product options.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and color contrast checked against AA ratios.
• Animations that switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Layouts that reflow to narrow screens and up to 400% zoom without sideways scrolling.
• Hebrew (right-to-left) and English versions, with the page language declared so screen readers pronounce text correctly.

In the shop

Our shop at Aharon Katsir St 4, Petah Tikva is accessible:

• Step-free entrance and a clear path to the fitting area.
• Seating at the fitting bench, so you can try shoes on sitting down, at your own pace.
• We’re glad to help with laces, buckles, orthotics and getting shoes on and off.
• Guide dogs and service animals are always welcome.

Known limitations

We test regularly, but we’re a small team and we won’t always catch everything. Some product photos may have brief descriptions rather than detailed ones. Third-party content, such as maps and the payment page, isn’t fully under our control and may not be fully accessible.
